Still alive.

Still alive!

Hurray for Sweetheart Lychee.

Flushed the potting medium.

Today I flushed the potting medium with a lot of water. The EC reading were off the chart before and now its down to 345. Just have to wait and see if it helped. I added some water with a ph of 5.5 to balance off the high ph of the tap water flushing.

Barerooted and Repoted

Transplant begins…

After shaking & washing off the soil; I could see that the pot that it grew in was small. Meaning it was pot bound. I didn't want to screw around with the mass, and it was getting dark, so I planted it right away.

Inoculated with Azo & Mykos.

Here it is potted up.

I put a plastic bag over it after this photo (below).

Then I put it into my car so tomorrow I can take it to work.

My first Lychee tree (Sweetheart)

My new blog for my Lychee tree.
Arrived today in box all wrapped up inside in popcorn styrofoam.
The variety is called 'Sweetheart'.

Here it is unfurled. I hope it survives.
